"Not only is this book a beautiful and powerful exploration of the desires that make us human, but I’ve never before encountered such an open portrayal of the therapist’s own perspective."

About Me

I grew up in Connecticut and Paris, and went to the University of Bristol, where I studied English and Philosophy. I did my psychotherapy training at the Tavistock & Portman Trust, the Institute of Psychoanalysis, WPF, and Regent’s University. I founded The School of Life Psychotherapy in 2015, and now I work in private practice. I’m also a writer.

What We Want is "at once a fly-on-the-wall look at the wants that bind us together, a cautionary tale on the dangers of not articulating our desires, and a practical toolkit for living well". For rights, contact my literary agent Adam Gauntlett (Peters, Fraser and Dunlop).
